Conscientious manipulation of materials and tools produces quality craftsmanship. There is just no substitute for “hands-on.” I offer knowledge and experience on furniture design, joinery, construction, finishing, and even transportation and delivery.

Sometimes you don’t need something bright and shiny, rather, an updated antique or period piece is better; a serviceable piece that needs a face lift and some TLC. After years of updating, repairing, and refinishing antiques, I can pretty much make your antique useful once again.

Doors and Drawers
Few things are more aggravating than a daily battle with doors and drawers that no longer engage. Perhaps a simple repair of knobs, pulls, handles, or drawer construction will make life easier. I can help you with that.
Things wear out
Joints get loose, glue fails, finishes get thin, scratches, dents, missing features, faces that are no longer square and plumb, and a myriad of other problems will inevitably develop over time. This is where experience comes in. I know how to fix it. In many cases, I can make replacement parts.
